Common Questions

What does BCG Water do?

BCG Water is a water and environmental compliance consultancy. We provide comprehensive evaluations, ongoing water management, operator and staff training, and expert witness and due diligence support for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

Who do you work with?

Wineries, private estates, mutual water companies, small utilities, and other facilities that own or operate a regulated water or wastewater system.

Where is BCG Water based, and where do you work?

We are based in Napa, California, and serve water systems nationwide. Our roots are in California, home to some of the most demanding water regulation in the country.

Is BCG Water the same company as Boudet Consulting Group?

Yes. BCG Water, LLC was formerly Boudet Consulting Group. The name changed; the team, the clients, and the standards did not.

Are you licensed water operators?

Our founder, Ashley Boudet, holds three California Grade II operator licenses: Water Treatment, Water Distribution, and Wastewater. When a system requires a higher grade, we subcontract operators certified at Grade III.

How is your work priced?

Evaluations and defined projects are flat-fee engagements, scoped to your system's size and complexity. We confirm the fee in a short call before any work begins, so there are no surprises.

What is the Compliance Hub?

Every Water Management client receives a custom-built Compliance Hub: one place for your compliance calendar, permit and order numbers, reporting frequencies, sampling schedules, system history, and every evaluation and report we produce.

What is the Napa County winery WDR deadline?

Napa County's local program extension ends January 20, 2027. Wineries in the County program need to enroll in the statewide Winery Order before then. The deadline is to enroll, not to finish the work. BCG Notify, our free public tool, shows which date applies to you.
