TEXT MESSAGE TERMS

What these terms cover
These terms apply to the optional text message (SMS) notifications BCG Water, LLC sends to the designated contacts of the water and wastewater systems we serve. They are in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Consent
We send text messages only to a contact who has given express consent, either by enabling text alerts in their BCG Water Compliance Hub account settings, or by submitting a written request to their BCG Water representative. We record the date consent was given and the exact disclosure shown at the time.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is never a condition of receiving our services, and it is never assumed from an existing business relationship.
What we send
Messages relate solely to the compliance and operation of the water system for which you are a designated contact:
- approaching or missed regulatory sampling and reporting deadlines
- overdue site tasks
- laboratory or operational readings outside the thresholds recorded for that site
- acknowledgements confirming an alert has been actioned
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the system and the events being reported, and is typically a few messages per month for each recipient.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply to messages you send and receive. BCG Water does not charge for these notifications.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You can also switch text alerts off in your Compliance Hub account settings at any time.

Opting out of text messages does not affect email notifications or your service agreement with us.
Supported carriers
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information is not shared
Mobile phone numbers and text message consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.
Notifications do not replace your own obligations
Notifications are provided as a convenience and do not replace your own obligation to meet applicable regulatory requirements. The authoritative record of compliance is the filed report, not a text message.
