Deadline

Napa County's local WDR extension ends January 20, 2027

Wineries that have been covered under Napa County's local waste discharge program need a clear path into the State Winery Order before the extension ends.

The Statewide Winery Order sets waste discharge requirements for winery process water across California. Napa County's local program has given covered wineries extra time. That extension ends January 20, 2027.

If your winery has been on the local program, now is the time to confirm which tier you fall under, what monitoring and reporting will apply, and what has to be filed before the deadline.

BCG Notify is our free, public tracker for the Winery Order. Find your county, estimate your tier, and follow regulatory changes with citations to the source. When you are ready for help with enrollment or a readiness review, we handle both as flat-fee engagements.
